Fake airdrop scams are still alive and kicking, folks! It’s like they say: if it sounds too good (or bad) to be true, it probably is – especially when involving cryptocurrency. EigenLayer just got hit with another malicious airdrop scam that had people questioning their sanity for even thinking about participating. A fake post on the X account showed a new ‘airdrop campaign’ supposedly for users eligible for the previous one… yeah right! The link? Well, let’s just say it was more like a ticket to Crypto-Street 5000 – not exactly what you’d call a legitimate use case.
