The never-ending saga of The Open Network (TON) and its DOGS-related outages continues, because what’s a blockchain without some good old-fashioned instability? It seems like just yesterday I was writing about TON’s first major outage in 36 hours, caused by the launch of that delightful memecoin called Dogs. And now we’re back to square one with another six-hour downtime spell, all thanks to… you guessed it: DOGS! The official TON Community announced the network’s return to normal functionality around 1:00 am UTC on Aug. 29, but not before withdrawals and deposits were put on hold for hours because of course they were.
