You know who’s about to get their butt kicked? The SEC! Again. They’re still whining and crying because they didn’t manage to screw over some poor guy with a funny haircut (aka the CEO of Ripple) in court, so now they want an appeal before it’s too late. Boo hoo, someone disagreed with your precious interpretation of ‘good law’… how ever will you survive? Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for them to come up with something – anything! – that doesn’t sound like a bunch of lawyers trying to justify their existence by making stuff up as they go along. Newsflash: just because the SEC says it’s not good law doesn’t mean it isn’t good law… or at least until someone comes along and proves you wrong, which is what happened here.
